I could not be more excited to be afforded the opportunity to serve as your assistant principal! I am so grateful and humbled by the welcoming and outpouring of support from the Parkside community. I am a proud graduate of James Madison University where I received my BA in English. From there, I received my first graduate degree in English/Urban Education from Teachers College of Columbia University. I am a former 7th grade Language Arts teacher, track coach, and team leader. Most recently, I completed my Administration and Supervision graduate degree through the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It is my firm belief that it truly does take a village to raise a child. At my core, I believe that through hard work, commitment, and collaboration, we can ensure the success of every child. Remember that a person who lacks an education is fully prepared for failure. I am looking forward to an awesome 2016-2017 school year. GO PANDAS!!!
